I don't know how to attach the picture. In the newsletter there is a black train for Vortex. Is this how the ride originally looked or is it something new? The logo on the front looks cool.

No. I believe that is the one that is at PGA.

They built that one in 1991, a year before Carowinds got there's.

Speaking of which, Vortex has quickly started to go up my list of Stand-ups for the first time in ages! It's running great these days!

It probably is that one, but the logo must have changed when Paramount took over. Curious they are using such an old photo and still on the wrong park.

Vortex has always been one of my favorite stand-ups. But I grew up close to Shockwave at Kings Dominion, so virtually all stand-ups are a superior ride and design.
