Hummm...where do you think the focus of next year be? Personally right now i think it can be in county fair basically because next year is TR 30th and they may want to revamp the area and spruce it up....

However, it could also be in water works being that all that survey stuff that was given out this year, but could it have been for 2007.....hummm only time will tell!

as i reported in july, the country fair lettering is still missing

plus frenzoid being removed

plus its a really dilapidated area

plus possible nascar hall of fame next yr..(cephas suggested a nascar type zone, it would fit)

plus its TR's 30th

Its obviously something for County Fair or Waterworks. I just hope they don't drain that pond that Frenzoid sits on though it would not surprise me at all.

At this point I'm thinking about 60% county fair, 40% waterworks. I can see it now.. 2006 County Fair, 2007 will bring Boomerang Bay, 2008 Thrill Zone turns into Paramount Action Zone with the addition of a hyper behind Hurler, following SFoG in the usual 2 years afterwards.

What about Days Of Thunder? Thunder Road, Bumper Cars; there is two rides that fit the theme. We know that Days Of Thunder is still storage. Point is Days Of Thunder is Nascar and racing, and the Carolinas have a connection to the racing and Nascar. While Carowinds doesn't care about history, it DOES fit a Paramount movie.

Days Of Thunder:The Next Generation, just rent the Lowe's Speedway and attach the new drivers like Tony Stewart, and Jeff Gordon to the ride. Amazing how quick a nobody can come up with something.

I still say BB next year. Frenzoid is finally being removed just as the waterpark operated for it's last weekend. Kind of says it right there.

I think an announcement should come very soon as well as construction.
