I thought it was being removed now due to the fact that weekday operations are over and the park has the week to get things in full gear...

For once, I agree with with CoasterBruh.

Maybe the trees are staying to add a buffer between the waterpark and TR.

What are you guys talking about "County Fair sign is gone" or whatever?

I was out there on Aug 26 and the sign was there and looked like it had just got a paint job!

I still find it weird that Thunder Road still has no sign at the top of the lift.

You know it would be awesome if they threw a Giant Frisbee in where Frenzoid is. Can you imagine hanging upside down 150 ft off the ground looking down at that pond!?! That'd be awesome!

ERT at C3 would be sweet!

Their refering to the freshly painted arches missing the letters County Fair.

I'm surprised that the concept of PC getting a TopSpin themed too TombRaider or something else hasn't been raised. I would think that this is a big possibility with some of the other Paramount Parks having one.

Thats what i was hopeing for, I would rather have that then the frisbee.

I'd rather have the frisbee than the top spin. Those seats can be very uncomfortable. And I dont particularly care for top spin rides. That and the fact that there are already 2 at other paramount parks with the same theme.

And i doubt they would make the huss frisbee over water. Knowing carowinds history, they would fill it in and build over that area.

IF they do indeed do the BB expansion, i hope they put in some trees this time...and hopefully use a material on/other than concrete b/c it get's waaaaaaaaay to hot come mid day

If they do redo WW....I hope they put in a Wave Pool like at Emerald Pointe (where I went last weekend for the first time.) It is so much fun and is really deep. Emerald Point also has some really cool "pools" with fun things like going across an 8ft deep pool on a line and dropping in. Really...great fun.

I hope that they redo WW and Country Fair. But, I am thinking WW being redone into BB.

I think the park will renovate Waterworks, or maybe even just add a new slide. Locodriver also mentioned a Tomb Raider like ride, I think that is possible too.

I wouldn't be surprised if the park didn't do anything for Thunder Road's 30th anniversary. I think the last time Paramount did anything like that was for the Beast's 20th in 1999.

Plus, Rebel Yell turned 30 this year, and I don't think Kings Dominion had any sort of celebration for it.

Wtf...Racing/Nascar is not universal enough?

Go anywhere in the country, nascar will be there. Nascar is the most popular spectator 'sport' in America, based on attendance. It beats out football, basketball, and baseball. It's actually slightly embarrasing that we have so many rednecks in this country...

I'm sure more people went to nascar events than fairs last year.

Wow...I'm sticking up for Rollernut...

Thank you, Cephas. At least someone has open eyes.
