I'm surprised that the concept of PC getting a TopSpin themed too TombRaider or something else hasn't been raised. I would think that this is a big possibility with some of the other Paramount Parks having one.

Frenzoids spot would be a perfect place for it too! Great visibility for those that don't want to ride, and it's right on the water. So no worries about catching stuff on fire. lol

I'd probably prefer a giant frisbee (after getting to finally ride PKI's this year) but a top spin would be cool too.

Just make this one more "man friendly".

I definitely see the Frenzoid area being used for County Fair, and not the waterpark. While the waterpark is right next door - and they also seem to have stopped using the putt-putt golf next to the waterpark - the whole area where Frenzoid sits is really the only large space to put anything in CF. Waterworks has some additional areas where they can put in a slide or two, such as expanding into the employee parking lot or just fitting them in the existing area.

Frenzoid has that pretty large pond, plus blocks off the little tree-lined area behind it. They could put in TWO rides back there of decent size if they got rid of the pond - or it'd be a perfect spot for a Top Spin or Delerium over the pond. I'm hoping it's something along those lines anyways.

hmmmmmmm...support for what though is the question. Could be a tube slide support, or a side support to something like a tornado tube. Looks too small to be a coaster footer (it would have to be an awfully skinny tube support for a coaster). Let the speculation begin!! Nice hunting Jarvis, but now you got me even more anxious about an announcement

Don't let him fool you, that footer isn't inside the park. It is on the walkway going to the North Gate. Nice try, it is most likely for a lightpost or flower tree.

Thats one of the footers for the Taxi Jam expansion. TJ will go out into the parking lot now. Longest Kiddie coaster in the world.

Now maybe we'll get that damn golden ticket.

Question...

If Tomb Raider, from PKD, was placed dead center of the pond of Frenzoid would there not be enough room for loading, unloading, special effects and, themeing?

I mean they already have the entrance, exit and water but I'm not sure just how big those things are. I know the one at PKI was impressive in size when I first rode it.

The only downfall I see is that the bumper cars are in the way. I'd think if they wanted to put one there they'd move the cars to where it would be a highly visible attraction.

There's plenty of room there for a TR ride. Maybe room for better special effects and more themeing.

Since the County Fair sign has dissapeared and the Thunder Road name has dissapeared (oh no please don't rename it Ferris Buellers Day Off coaster) maybe the Action FX section would be coming there in 06. That would be fine with me since all remembrences of the County Fair days are half gone. No swings, no Frenzoid now...etc, etc.

And remember that last year at C3 they DID say they were looking at remodeling County Fair.

I haven't been on PKD's version (I was supposed to go this weekend, but the gas shortage ended that) but you might have a good point.

If they tried to do decent theming with it then they might have a problem with room over there.

They could just plop it down where frenzoid is now and have the theming be in the que line only.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. As I've said before I'd rather have a giant frisbee in that spot. But that's just me I know. Can you imagine the ERT at C3-5? B)

The only reason i don't think it's a CF makeover is because the re-painterd the arches, Yes the name is gone but if it were going to be Action FX section or whatever i don't think they would have arches with flowers at the entrance to such an area.
