Well since we are still awaiting the 2006 Announcement lets start up what we believe 2007 will bring us. Recently the good old Titanic: Hyper Coaster Rumor is beginning to pick up steam again so lets just see what we would have in mind for the 2007 season.

Recent 2007 Quotes
I thought the one that John said in the 2006 Announcement thread is interesting
The park has decided to cancel their addition for 2006, but has set a 2007 announcement for August 1st, 2006

-Yes it might have just been a joke but what if it was actually true

I personally think 2007 will be a huge year and the park will annouce something huge. Myabe not a hyper (or maybe) but something big. I would be willing to bet we get a coaster.

Hopefully that MTV coaster. Or the Hyper.

If we have to wait untill 2007 to get a new ride it had better be a coaster or two smaller rides. My question is if we will not get a new ride for next year will the prices stay the same? The price of a beer at the park right now is so high you have to allready be drunk to pay for it. Not to mention the food prices. I remember when 3 people could eat at the park without going over $18. Another question I have is why take out a ride if they are not going to replace it that next year? Would it not make more sence to have as many rides in your park as possable? Even though no one got on that thing anyway.

Mybe they are laying the hidden supports for a hyper coaster so large it will take two years to build.

The only coaster that's "sinking" is Magnum.

Glad I had Rob Zombie playing in the background...

Nice stolen Silver Star footage you got there. Is it just me or is Titanic the worst name since "Fairly Odd Coaster.?" Anyone hoping for a large coaster in 2007 is probably fooling themselves. The park doesn't really christen anniversarys with big attractions. I mean their last 3 major coasters (Borg, Top Gun, Hurler) were on the 32nd, 27th, and 22nd anniversarys respectively. Also, its just my perspective but there are only 2 choices this year (County Fair re-do, or Water Works re-do). Whatever they don't do for 2006, they'll do in 2007. The earliest I could see a big coaster is 2008, possibly even 2009.

PS: "Mission: Impossible" is the best name evah for a hyper. B)

Heck, I almost closed it as soon as I saw the topic title. But, I thought I'd better read it first.

Mission Impossible...sounds like the task of getting Paramount Parks to put a hyper, giga, or even a strata in one of their parks :)

LOL...."Sinking in 2007" just brilliant.

I have to say the idea of themeing a roller coaster to Titanic is probably one of the worst ideas I've ever heard. However, I do have to say you guys are quite creative and I just loved all of that. The photos, the video, and especially the tag line. It's great to see people have such enthusiasm for something - don't ever lose that cause that's what makes all of this fun. :D
