I liked the seat belts. It made absolutley no difference in the way the Hurler road this year. I still got my air time and like the fact the Carowinds is stepping up to the plate for safety instead of waiting for an accident.

Exactly. That's also why all the Baby-Doll parts were removed from the station as well.

I kind of wish that they would have left the WW theming on just the Hurler. The Q-Line Video was hilarious. The video was also special becuase Paramount had Mike Myers & Dana Carvey come in and do act on a video that would only be shown in two small-time theme parks. I'd like to see them do something that expensive today!

Just another side note about Hurler because that was my ride, I know every inch of it. This past winter, last year, they did rebuild the trains and a lot of the track. I talked to maintenance in July and they told me what all was done. The back turn was rebuilt, there was a very bad spot as you make the turn and this summer they were still trying to fix it because the boards that were replaced warped. It was rough in the back of the train--ouch. But as a Team Leader there, I rode that ride soooooooo many times. If a guest complained about something I had to ride. Trust me I know just about everything about Hurler and DZ. I know this, I could have killed the people who put rocks under it, they are a pain at 11 pm trying to pick up trash, lol.

First of all who died and left you in charge the I am so high and mighty that I do not have to wear a seatbelt cause I am cool? Last I looked when you buy a ticket or use that season Pass then you agree to the rules of that said park which means if there are seatbelts on a said coaster than you shall wear it since it is part of that park's rules for riding. So I guess you are telling use that you are above the park rules? If you are then please explain it in term of how and why?

Secondly, do you even have the slightest idea of what took place earlier this year at Holiday World when someone that decided to ride a the Raven without the seat belt fasten? Well incase you did not than allow me to give it to in the skinny version that I think will get a point accross. She flew out of the coaster to her death. You get the point there mr. I refuse to wear a seatbelt?

It is people like you that give the rest of us who enjoy going to the parks a bad name. It only takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch and you are that bad rotten apple.

Have a nice day.

1. I'm not bragging about "being cool" by not wearing a seatbelt. I'm just stating that I choose not to wear the seatbelt. Nowhere in my past posts do I say that I don't wear a seatbelt. I do not buy my passes because I'm only 16 years old. I do not read all the paperwork stating I must wear the seatbelt on the Hurler. I feel that if a ride never had seatbelts before and there was no accident involved for the reason they were installed then I will choose not wear seatbelts.

2. The Holiday World accident was her fault. Nowhere in the report that I heard that she wasn't wearing a seatbelt nor does it mention seatbelts installed. All I read was that her lapbar was too loose and that's how she flew out.

As I said, say what you want. There's nothing you can do to convince me to wear the seatbelts. Not even if you show the entire accident report in amusement park history.

If you can't stand what I'm doing because it "makes me the rotten apple in our perfect bunch" then PM me and I'll futher discuss things with you.

Have a nice day!

Well guess what, my friend, you didn't read the report. Here is a link for your enjoyment: http://www.holidayworld.com/finalprosecutorsreport.html

"When the coaster returned to the station without Fellner a ride operator noticed that Fellner's seatbelt was unfastened."

"Fellner's seatbelt was found unfastened and each end was tucked between the cushion and the sidewall on both sides of her seat. The lap bar where she had been sitting was down."

The report stated just the opposite of what you said; that the lap bar height is not an issue and the unfastening of her seatbelt caused her to be ejected. You will not need to be convinced, because if you are caught I am sure the park will ban you for life from visiting. Holiday World has already instated such a policy, and word is many other parks are taking the same no-tolerance approach. Tamar Fellner thought the exact same thing as you when she decided that she didn't have to wear a seatbelt if she didn't want to, and as a result she lost her life. For my part, I hope that the park catches you and bans you before such a thing can happen to you.

Just because you don't read the rule that says you have to wear seatbelts doesn't make you exempt. I, personally, have never read a law against murder, so by your reasoning, I can go around and murder people because I never read about it.

Looks like I was not fast enough to reply since you have been owned by two others on here but I will add my little input into this topic.

So you chose not to wear a seatbelt on a ride that did not have them in the past, then I guess that is your rather insane choice. I guess I will turn the tv on one day and see where a 16 year old was ejected from Hurler and fell to his death.

On a side note here, are you a member od ACE?

Now you have a nice day.

You just do that ok. Call me insane, whatever, as I said you're not convincing to wear the seatbelts. Before you mention it, yes I do wear car seatbelts.

And no I'm not a mem of ACE. I'm sure you're concerned about that so ACE doesn't get a bad name because of "a terrible decision someone has made."

Glad you are seeing eye to eye on the car seatbelts. SO you are the Rebel of the bunch. I guess every board need a rebel or two.

I am in no way trying to convince you to wear your seatbelt on a coaster. If you would have stopped by before today then you would have got to see my post before I edited it. I was just calling you the world's biggest stupid --- moron for doing it. Again I wished you would have saw the unedited version.

Hope you enjoy your dreams.
