I don't go into the waterpark because other than Tidal Wave(forgot new name), there is nothing there. Basically it sounds like Carowinds isn't getting anything new in 2006. I have got feeling that Carowinds is losing money because season pass sales are going up while attendance is too. In other words, I encourage people to resist the cheap season pass prices, and the benifits because it looks like they are killing Carowinds.

I am not buying a 2006 Season Pass because I got a feeling that if Season Pass Attendance keep growing while General Admission ticket sales fall than Carowinds will become a thing of the past, and in coming years, I will need to be in my other two happy places because my number one may be away fighting for the United States.

I wanna see how this will take up 3 extra acres because the current waterpark is 12 acres and 25% of that is 3 acres...

This should be great for the drinkers, what an assortment they are offering now!

Makes you wonder if good old min-golf is history. I can see at least that much land being added between the entire Frenzoid / pond and mini-golf area.

Actaully the waterpark is 13 acres, and going to 16. I think mini-golf is staying.

See, I think this might be kinda fun. If I have a season pass (which I'm sure I will), I can hop on over to the waterpark, lay in a beach chair, and sip on margaritas all afternoon! What a great way to end a day of work...We could even get a little Carowinds Connection weekly after-work get together!

How would I know, I just know that we are running out space for new coasters on the inside of the park. I have been tipped off by a source saying that IJ is coming in 2007. If that is true than my guess is Goldrusher. As coasterbruh says A broken clock is right twice a day, and I am a broken clock. My prediction is by 2011, Carowinds will have to remove a coaster.
