I just got word that the Carowinds campgrounds will try to open for the 2006 season. Some of the campsites will be replaced with small cabins which I think is a great idea. Before any of this can happen though, the entire electrical system feeding the individual campsites needs to be reworked to code.

So, BB may not be the only thing going in 2006 after all.

Now were talking. Looks like 2006 is going to be a awesome year at Carowinds.

Maybe we'll get some kind of major playground with the campground. :rolleyes:

Well that answers the question of if they will move the employee parking over there and expand the park.

I hope the word gets out about the campground. It will be nice to see campers back there once again. Maybe they can bring back the trolly to bring campers to the gate and back.

Actually they can still move the employee parking. There is a large grassy area beside the gravel employee parking lot that the park could pave and make tons of spaces as well as pave the gravel lot and expanding that as well so we still could see a BB expansion into the current paved lot.

Maybe next time, unless WhiteWater Falls is removed for the next expansion. IF WWF is ever removed, I expect the county fair will be connected to Carolina RFD in that area.
