Welcome to the world of video making! I liked it for your official first coaster video. If you were to ask for some suggestions I would just say a few things...
Try to make your music a tad bit louder than the actual footage and vice versa if you want to hear talking more than the music, but for this video I would have made the music louder than the footage. I know some times you wanna hear the roar of top gun in the back but unless your editing software allows for some segments to have the audio toggle (unlike mines  ) you either have to pick which would enhance the video or you have to do some "video magic" where you have to make seperate segments (w/ audio and without audio) and combine them into one video...kinda like I had to do in my sheikra video just to hear the screaming!
If your software offers different transition I would try them out. Some videos are way better w/ cool transitions while on the other hand...some videos dont warrant them. But just play around w/ different transitions and see what comes out.
Sometimes if you have the video insync with the music, notice I said sometimes, that can make the video better also. But sometimes it doesnt work...
Now this helps me alot but to kinda "vision" the video you wanna produce and shoot footage according to that. Now that also means you have to be creative and take risk because sometimes it works and well...you get the picture. But what is the best feeling is just putting together a video and the end result is awesome!
another thing, if you wanna get into it as diehard as me (which I doubt lol lol) try investing in a tripod from walmart for like 20 dollars (thats where I got mines) and it will be one of the best investments you can possibly do as far as video!
Now that I have given you most of my secrets you better not make a video that tops mines!
