Well this past friday was ACE night at SCarowinds part 2. I wasnt able to attend the first scheduled ACE night being that I was <a href='http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19758&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=' target='_blank'>being scarificed for the queen of terra cruenta</a> 
so I was kinda glad that it was attempted again. I arrived at the park around 7ish...
...and looked the the large group that always shows up for this event and I spotted max and he was talking to some tweeb in a scooby doo shirt. So I went to max and the first thing that came out my mouth was "where is that d@mn rotten nuts :angry: !" and to my suprise he was the tweeb in the scooby doo shirt! Well...I decided to spare him this time because I was in a good mood and I didnt wanna get any blood on my new shirt. So after a while wes showed up, lips pouting and all because he was stood up by coasterchris and had to do some explicted favors for rollernut in exchange for a admission ticket! My friend and me went to go get our tickets and came back and mark finally showed up and that was the completion of the group.
Yeah it was a small bunch but still more than last year. So then we proceded to the front gates...
Which had some creepy music playing and some kinda cool lighting effects. After a 32 point check by security and giving up for first born (ok im joking it wasnt that bad, actually didnt get hassled at all that night...yeah thats a first!) we arrived at the turnstiles...
We were officially at scarowinds. As we made our way to cross the bridge a special guest showed up...
Yep you guessed it, The ghost of the carolina queen. She was a tad bit pissed and hadn't gotten over the **ahem** tragic event during the offseason but she behaved herself. Quite honestly I think rollernut summon her. Dont think we were at scarowinds heres proof...
After walking thru Corpse Cavern and survive breathing in all that toxic smelling fog we finally made it to Massacare Manor. I really like this house for what its worth. Its very long and the scaracters are pretty darn good in this house. Im not gonna say any names but someone in the group kept getting scared and screaming out vulgar language, whimp! The only thing that dissapointed me is that the cockroached didnt have the cracking sound when you stepped on them but I guess after all those nights of stomping they lost it! What a great way to start out the night...and did I mention that it was no waits for it either. Well, after that we headed over to...
I think its cool to have an outdoor haunted attraction because its very unique and every trip is never the same! While waiting to proceed thru the path we nearly got sucked in to the evil star mountian from hell and all of its sirens singing sweet songs of lust...
See what I mean scary...lol lol. The trail was very fun. The scaracters over your head, the ones in the bushes grabbing out for you is just awesome. And again this was another lenthy attraction that keeps on getting better and better as you go thru. Remember the wimp from earlier...yeah he was at it again. This time the headless horse man scared the crap out of me...err...i mean him and caused him to jump back into the bushes. That thing came outta no where and all he saw was those hands reaching out for him and that very tall body! After that the group decided it was time to check out some rides. the first ride we went on was...
Yep the hurter, oops i mean the hurler! It was a fairly good ride that night. But me pain seeking self sit in the back seat so you guys knew what that must be like! Oh and my friend hadn't been on a coaster in soo long so thats partially the main reason why I chose that seat...needed to give him a wake up call
. We actually got on it first and while we were waiting I decided to bring out the infamous tripod and get some shots of drop zone...
That last shot im pissed with because the clearer shot I mistakenly deleted when trying to delete that one! After the group got finish hurling we headed over to Alien crypt 3D...
Now this is where I lost it! There was this group of kids (girls) that were behind us, about 5 and I was the last one in our group because I was the brave one but those girls really made me loose my cool. I understand that scarowinds is suppose to be scary and all but they were running all over people, grabbing and pulling my shirt and yelling for nothing! I dont know leaked to the media that I was gonna be in the park that night but who ever it was is gonna get it! Did I also mention how for some reason we started out going thru the house backwards and kinda got lost lol lol. After reliving how Simba felt during the wilderbeast stampede I made it out alive, well barely and encountered one of the nicest employees that night. Im not gonna go into detail what happen but he made scrooge look like the pope! Moving right along...we decided to ride the cyclone since it was right there or was it...
That was hands down the coolest looking coaster the whole night! After doing my thriller dance skit with the screen they had in the que we finally made it in the station...
I guess carowinds mastered optical illusions this year also because from looking outside the station...it looked pratically empty but when getting to the top of the stairs we encountered this...
It wasnt really that bad but still it was a wait and im probably one of the most spoiled carowinds fanboys and im use to no waits at all but it gave us some time to catch up on some chit chat! And here he is folks...
The nut is real! In case your wondering what he was saying, he was just telling me how grateful he is that I spared him and didnt get my homies to spray him w/ AK-47's and run off with samantha B) ! Oh yeah back to the chit chat...We were just hang and all of a sudden roller nut showed us his new trick, but mainly he was showing satan...
Well the "trick" was that he learned how to dial numbers on his cell phone that morning! Wow the nut is really moving up. Maybe next week he can learn how to turn it on lol lol...Oh yeah among other things he also showed us why he is just rollernut and not rollernut(s)...im sure someone got the picture of "it" and not just ask him he seemed like he was pretty eager to show it off! And also Foreseer was showing satan (known as max) what really goes on in germany...
needless to say Max booked a one way flight to Germany for that following morning! After ridding the very, VERY smooth cyclone we headed over to...
Man, that thing really tears up that track. no trims no the top section with the exception of the one before the big turn around (which isnt on hard at all) and the other 2 on the lower section. thats one of my fav mouse coasters around. While waiting in line I decided to "try" to snap a picture of Scarolina Boardwalk...
We then headed back to the southgate section of the park. Hunger hit and we went to country kitchen. That place had some of the biggest wieners I have ever seen and the server handled my wiener with care and she even had on protection so my wiener wouldnt get her all messy. Now I dont know what happen when I sit down but my friend asked for a mananger. I still dont know exactly what happen but I had to warn him to watch his back cause those employees looked like they didnt play..just ask foreseer. I swear that chick almost went to her purse when he disturbed her rest when he asked for a soda lol lol! It was time to leave the warmth of the country kitchen and decided to hit up superstition. That is a pretty fun simulator and almost everyone's comment while getting off was "man that would be cool if that were a real ride". After that the group decided to go home (it was getting pretty cold).
Overall it was a pretty cool night and I had fun with the group. Cant wait until the next event...
