Tools on the Loose 2005 – Discs 1 & 2 (Rated PG-13) (PG most of the time though)
After getting two of the Alvey’s DVD’s I was pleasantly surprised when Robb Alvey asked if I would review one of their new DVD’s they were promoting “Tools on the Loose 2005â€.
This DVD collection was filmed and edited by Don Garrison and Monica Jack.
The typical parks like Disney, Magic Mountain, various Six Flags, Busch Gardens Tampa, you get the picture.
What I was happy to see were a lot of smaller parks in California and throughout the country that no one ever talks about.
Not that they are amazing parks, I just always find it interesting seeing more parks than the same old same old, like on other coaster DVDs on the market/internet.
This was an enjoyable 2 discs and I would recommend them for anyone that enjoys the Alvey’s type of DVD. Although Don and Monica aren’t quite as wild and crazy as Robb and Elissa can be.
Coast-to-coasterthon 2004 (Disc 3) (Rated R)
Unfortunately I can not in good conscious recommend this disc. I don’t know if it was their first year doing a project like this or what but it just didn’t go over well with me at all.
The music just was down right annoying. I don’t like “modern rap†and it seemed like that was all there was.
I also don’t care for profanity and a lot of the tracks contained the F word. I would just rather not hear it.
But I didn’t like the music even without the profanity.
I watched the entire disc hopeing that I would like it by the end, but I really never did.
