I find it kind of odd that no one here has managed any updates on our new Boomerang Bay. This off season just seems dead with no buzz going on.

I just washed and pressed my Speedos for opening day so if anyone has anything on the progress I'd appreciate it. Sure would be a shame to pack away them Speedos. After all I purposely got me a dickie-doo belly just for the occasion.

I don't think there have been any updates because construction has yet to begin.

I heard the same thing Foreseer. Significant construction has yet to begin on BB. Keep in mind that the waterpark won't open until May so they have a little longer to work on it.

I just wonder if they will repaint the waterslides, and the playhouse. Really, no one can see any construction from the outside of the park because as far as I know, it is all around Frenzoid area. But what do I know. July 2005, "Animation Station is being rethemed." "You are crazy." Sorry, off-topic.

j/k tho, it isn't really a dickie-doo, more like a water shed.

swampfox, I figured that's why they are waiting. They have a bit more time with that section not opening until later in the season and with the exception of a couple items it's more a makeover than a rebuild.

Or maybe they are trying to keep you and other folks like you away from speedos as long as possible :lol:

Well this really doesnt pertain to BB. But it does to about the new additions to 06. Well it looks like Sponge Bob will be no more at F/X. Last year while working there were rumors about 2 new F/X movies. I thought Paramount was trying to transform their parks into a Nick Paradise. Hanna-Barbera ?
