I for one prefer the "bite" of Coke over sweeter tasting Pepsi. Anyone else like this move?

Hasn't Carowinds had Coke for years anyway?

Not that many parks (for that matter, not that many food joints) sell Pepsi anymore. I personally prefer it out of the two.

Duke, Carowinds has been a Pepsi joint for a while. In the Charlotte area, Wendy's, Bojangles, KFC are all Pepsi. It varies by area though. The Wendy's I go to sometimes in Marietta, GA sells Coke products.

Carowinds had Coke for all of the 90's. They switched to Pepsi in like 2000 or 2001 i think.

EDIT: Ok after further review Coke has been with Carowinds through all of the 90's, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005.

Maybe Coke resigned with PP. Coke is clearly labeled on the park maps i have from 1992-2005. It's says the official soft drink.

Coke even had their own booth at Winterfest where you could put your own label on a coke bottle.

Why is this news?

They've been with Coke probably since the start of the park.

As far back as I can remember they've had Coke.

I only like Coke for 2 reasons. Dasani water and Sprite.

Yeah they did break ground. I looked around sat when i was at the park.

Dumb me, I never knew Pepsi was there.
