Jonathan, I always thought a live Carowinds webcam would be a nice feature. I know this may be unlikely but if anyone could pull this off it would be you. So many parks have them. Just a thought. I have no idea how expensive that would be.

For this site I'd leave the forums alone. Well, almost. Maybe add one for the occasional non Carowinds threads?

For the Home Page I'd jazz it up. Leave the header as is, leave the left columns as is, add a random picture feature in the middle with the latest news under it. On the right side add something like the hottest topics, the last 3-4 News items, etc... Also try to make the page where you don't have to scroll.

Of course my monitor is a 32inch HD TV/Monitor running at 1920x1080 with 32bit resolution. (1080P) So I can accommodate about any width.

You could sponsor photo contests, video contest, photoshop contests, (to name a few) and give prizes to the winners! Maybe a gift certificate to a good steak house, heck, maybe even a Paranount season pass.

Think of the traffic this would generate. People love prizes! Especially when your chances are better than the lottery!!

IMO, the actual Carowinds Connection site is great as is. Sure, there is always gonna be some visual improvement done from time to time but nothing that I could think of that would take $2000.00.

more videos!! I've been doing videos with whootah for a few years. we've even got 3 or 4 or so (lost count) carowinds videos. Maybe one day soon i'll get tired of it, so i could come to your site for my video fix!

ummm in case no one put 2 and 2 together, he used the $2000 to buy whootah.com and turn it into whootahawkins.com

Then screwed up and a got mad at one of the users and he lost it all due to breach of contract.
