Well, I wasn't able to get to the park this weekend due to both my car and bike craping out on me but has anyone got an update on the karts?

Well I went to the park today for a few hours and low and behold what to my wondering eyes would appear? But two go karts sitting in front of the track!

Of course before leaving the house I thought "oh I won't need my camera today". :rolleyes:

They are very big go karts and look like you could seat 2 people comfortably in them.

The steering wheels remind me of KITT (or however you spelled it) from Night Rider. They aren't circles, they are just two grips and one solid piece in the middle.

The track and station are coming along, but don't look like they will be ready until at least mid-summer. Maybe sooner, but not really to me.

I dunno, they could get it up and running pretty fast if they wanted to, construction can fly at times. I hope it's ready soon, even though it's gonna be upcharge (i assume), i'd like to give it a try if it's a multi-level track (or even if it's not, as long as it isn't just a circle). How's the track and stuff look from what you saw??

I saw those two go-carts there too. I hardly ever take a camera to the park, and I didn't today. No pictures.

I did see some cranes putting together a waterslide in Boomerang Bay though.

The wind really helped me get the flyers going today!

The karts will be an up charge.

I looked down at the track from Hurler and right now it just looks like one level concrete track, but they could always add more later as that might be a base level.

alright, thanks for the update. I'm still waiting for my first trip to the park this year, so i'm kind of anxious to find out about how everything is developing there.
