Don't know if everyone has noticed but a new Cracker Barrel is being built across from Carowinds entrance!!!

I'm more excited about that than the go karts. lol

Also there's a new Damons almost finished down the street at Carowinds Blvd and Hwy 49 (south tryon)

It's a great location I think. It might also spark a build up around that exit, one never knows.

I'd love to see the mall torn down and either a new one built or some other kind of attraction.

Also more restaurants would be nice.

One thing is certain, that Cracker Barrel will be forever busy , whenever the park is open. We love breakfast at the Cracker Barrel :rolleyes: , but we're always too anxious to get to the park when it opens and get a few good rides in on Top Gun and the Flyers to worry a whole lot about the bellies - we have a hundred mile haul to the park so we usually catch a biscuit on the run...

A Texas Roadhouse would be nice... a few more choices... Shoneys just doesn't get it anymore ...

OMG ONION RINGS at Cracker Barrel...the best EVER! Forget Shoneys and IHOP. Im hitting up Cracker Barrel for breakfast when Im in charlotte! =)

There is already a billboard on I-77 for it!!!

There is a red tape type sticker across it saying it will open in June.

It still amazes me how fast they throw stuff up these days.

Most of the structure looks finished (looking at it from Top Gun).

It's About time they build one closer to home......I haven't been to the area yet this season. Where are they building it?

It's literally almost straight across from the main sign out in front of the park.

The bank or whatever it is now is on the left if you turn left in front of the park entrance and it's to the right of the bank (on the left side of the road).

Getting out of there and into the park will be fun. I hope they connect it to that light.

Hellz yeah! Cracker Barrel is a very good resturaunt. Whenever my famiy travels somwhere far, we ALWAYS eat there at least once during the trip.

Well the Cracker Barrel is open for business!

I looked over there Monday and it was PACKED.

I'll have to hit them up some early Saturday morning (before ERT) if I eat there before C3.
