We're slowly starting the planning for this year's C3. What I'm asking for is some legitimate ideas for the agenda. Remember that its September and hopefully, it will be a lot cooler.

A tradition the past few years has been the Scooby Shoot Out. Is it time to retire it and do something differnet? Any ideas out there?

I can state emphatically that there will be no Amazing Race this year. So, something to replace the afternoon game is needed. Right now, ideas are being tossed about for something called CSI.

I've sent some ideas in for the ERT sessions. I'm interested to see if the Flyers get approved for it.

So, if you have any kind of ideas, please let me know. Maybe if we can get some good stuff rolling, we can meet up at the park and doing some planning and get inspiration. (and a few flyer rides.)

A Survivor themed game would work well I think.

Maybe like a coaster or Paramount movie trivia theme and as teams miss points they are elimnated.

I would also suggest having it in one spot and not running all over the park like the last two years.

Some people are not physically able to do this and will not participate.

Maybe the park could have a prize pack that included shirts from PGA's new Survivor ride .

here are a few possibilities
-Maybe have a talk with a real ride operator
-Who can finish riding all the rides the quickest.
(Take a sheet with all the rides names (that you can ride) and have a operator initial or put a stamp on it saying you rode)
-Who can barf the quickest hahaha

-a "meet and greet with jarvis" area so i can do all my signings and answer some questions that my public is dieing to know

-maybe a construction tour of the new coaster site

I just knew you'd want your own meet and greet, Jarvis! You know, Jarv, I haven't heard yet where FOF is going...

I'm working on one CBS show for a game with two different concepts for it. ("We're not having a dead body in the park.") I've thought about Survivor. But, I just don't know how we'd pull it off. Think about it and see what you can come up!

Might try and do something with the go-karts.

Jonathan, Myself and Chicken have all been discussing an idea. Since the new refurbished campground is open again, we could secure a site or a couple of sites side-by-side and have an after-event, late night campfire and food event!

I would be more than willing, with a little help from the whootah crew, to coordinate the "C3 Campfire Meet & Eat".

I say keep Scooby Shoot Out, I have been praciting for it. We could always do something with Carowinds Zone's Ghost of Carowinds' Past feature. ERT on the Saturator, see who can get Scott and Natividad with the waterbombs, like a roller coaster dunking booth except they can shoot us back. Extended races on the Gokarts(10 Laps) for a t-shirt prize. We have got to have ERT on Taxi Chase, Flyers, and Thunder Road.

Thank GOD the amazing race isn't returning. That event was so full of cheating and almost made everyone pass out from heat exhaustion haha, but it was a nice stab at trying something new. I think the Scooby shootout should probably be retired as the same people seem to do well each year (people who have that type of ride near them or in their home parks), I know I've scored in the top 3 each year it has been played. Something new would be interesting.

I reallllllly wish the scavenger hunt would come back. It was always so great because you could do it at a leisurely pace if you just wanted to see the park or you could quickly do it if you wanted to win, it was very versatile. Also, it allowed you to actually ENJOY the middle of the day (i.e. riding and walking around) rather than bolting around and hoping you don't pass out. I remember it used to be the best part of the day for myself and the people I would bring along. I think for people who don't come to the park regularly, it's better to have a game that still allows people to see the park, and ride the rides, which is ultimately what we are there for.

<span style='color:blue'>Max again...[COLOR=red]Flyers are up in the air. No pun intended. I might know something by the end of the week about ERT schedules. What concerns me was the Scott requested a certain way to ride the flyers. Nobody seemed to listen. </span>

As far as ERT... I would be very surprised if they allow the flyers again. The ride op manager was watching the whole time and looked very very nervous that the ride was going to fall apart. I'm actually surprised he didn't shut us down right then. As we all know, it doesn't actually pose a risk to the ride (especially in such small doses), but he didn't look very happy. I do hope to see them return... I'd actually rather have more ERT time on those than anything else.

Can't wait to watch that FoF trailer at the end of the day!

ERT on Flyers would be great this year, and ERT on Top Gun is a must (more re-ridable than BORG)

<span style='color:blue'>Max here...one goal I've always had was to have the same ERT schedule for the evening session. Right now, I'd have it be Top Gun, Flyers, and Thunder Road. One line of thinking is to keep the rides together so its easier to keep the group together. That worked out good last year with Ricochet, Cyclone, and Hurler. </span>

In terms of the mid-day event, why not something like the Midway Olympics that they had at one or two of the other paramount parks a few years ago for events? I heard that was really popular, it wouldn't require everyone to run around during the hottest part of the day, it would bring in money from people practicing every time they go to the park lol, and...who doesn't like playing the games at some point?

I also think that there should be something like an extended race on Go Karts at some point for the ACEers or like (since we pretty much know it will be upcharge), like half-price for ACE or like 1 or 2 free rides on them or something like that.

Just a few ideas, i'll post more if i think of them

curious...since this years C3 is close to Scarowinds I wonder if any of the attractions will be up? more on my ideas later.
