We have officially hit the big time! Apparently while I was at the Hurricanes game tonight, the forums were hacked. I'm trying not to let this go to my head, but it feels good to know that someone cares enough to take the time to do that.

Haha, I like how they left the mainpage alone but redirected the forums mainoage to their site.

Well, they probably used an exploit in InvisionBoard to get into the forum admin panel or something, so they can't get to the rest of the site. I have no idea what exploit they used, nor do I have any plans of fixing it, so hopefully it won't happen again.

I hate that it happened. I so wanted to come on here and discuss 24 in our semi off topic thread we had going! I wound up having to go to the Troll to talk about well. Glad to see everything is back up and running.

That whole "f the usa" thing caused me to have a bad dream about that guy in the picture coming to our mcdonalds down the street and trying to blow up our local mcdonalds. =( Good thing I had a vacuum cleaner to suck up the bomb stuff....Weird dream....

Someone (I can only assume it is the same folks who hacked the boards a couple weeks ago) hacked into the admin panel today and sent out a mass email to every member of the site. They also changed the forums so that it asked the viewer to download a file on every page, which was a virus. Your personal info and accounts are safe, and I will do everything I can to make sure this does not happen again. But, if you are ever browsing the forums and it pops up a file for you to download, don't download it. I apologize for any concerns this may have caused.
