So who do we start talking to about getting one of these put in? :D

Is anyone else having trouble with the high-speed videos??? I keep getting the audio with a freeze frame of the coaster on the lift hill. I went ahead and tried watching the dial-up version, but the quality of those videos is terrible, with the shadows and stuff you can't even see what the coaster is doing half the time.

^thus the joy of streaming video....

I never was a big fan of streaming video. But at least HW put something up for us to look at. I literally got goose bumps watching this thing haul *** around the turns. It looks quite good. I'll be there soon enough!!

A little birdie called from the media event and said that it was absolutely insane. Its going to seem like forever until HW gets here.

I believe the same birdie may have called me as well after his 40th or so ride. Needless to say, I am very jealous right now, and very excited about what's going to happen 3 weeks from tomorrow.

That little birdie sure does get around! Voyage one day. Rumbler the next. Although I think its going to be hard to top Voyage. Its going to be a good thing that they've got three trains.

Well, I placed my bids on ebay for the May 6 rides but apparently 24 little birdies wanted it more than me!

OMG!!! That coaster is awesome! It is so fast...maintaining that great speed throughout the ride. Imagine how wicked the final sections would be without that little brake run before the tunnel drop. I want to ride it now! Too bad it is up in Indiana.

PS....I got my season pass finally! Can't wait until I can go to Carowinds this season!

I'd rather have goliath...plus 3 more camel back hills!

I'd rather have both. :P

This is going to be a big coaster year for me even though I'm only doing 2 real trips (not counting Myrtle Beach as a trip). lol

That same birdie called me......wait a minute.....I am that birdie. I had the pleasure to attend the Media Day thursday for Coasterfanatics. I can tell you this is one fast and insane coaster. It got faster and even more insane as the day went on. And I get the chance to enjoy an hour ERT in the morning since I did win a spot on that auction.

Here are the pics: <a href='http://www.pbase.com/coasterdave2/holiday_world_media_day' target='_blank'>Holiday Media Pics</a>

Congrats on the auction win Dave. I saw that name in the list of winners and wondered if that was the CCC guy.

I'm looking as forward to the Voyage as I was Hades last year which makes me wonder. It took Hades about 2 months to reach it's full power. I can only hope the Voyage will only increase in speed even more as the weeks go by. A buddy of mine who attended media day said he couldn't imagine it getting any faster but said it was definately possible. I imagine HW will keep a watch on that though.

Just a brief comment on my rides this weekend. I can say that when the Golden Ticket Ballet and when Mitch's poll comes out. I will be adding The Voyage as my number one wooded coaster. There is really nothing that comes close to it.

I did head off to Beech Bend Media Day for the Rumbler. It is a solid ride for the park. I would call it an improved version of Ozark Wildcat.
