Breaking News for None Platinum Pass Holders Carowinds if offering 3 promotion days for early ride time on sundays for the next 3 weeks, Platinum Pass Holders will continue to operate ERT on Saturdays and stuff. Rides that i know of that will be open are Top Gun, Borg and a few nick central rides (I dont believe the flyers are open)

If you dont have a Platinum Pass they want you to buy one so yeah have fun with that

^^I'm totally confused by your post.

Are you saying that Platinum Passholders will have ERT on Sunday?

Or that regular passholders will have ERT on Sunday?

I don't get it, though. Do you get into the park free?

If that's the case I'm going to pretend I don't have a pass and go ride the flyers for an hour :P

They are doing this tomorrow morning. Does anyone know if current platinum passholders are allowed to go? I wouldn't mind an hour of flyer ERT.

They sure were :P It said on the website somewhere that these were "Bonus ERT" days for the current Platinum passholders.

Went today, got a few spins on Top Gun, 3 on the flyers and a few drops on Drop Zone. Hurler was down, as was Rip Roarin' Rapids when we thought about riding it. BORG apparently wasn't up for ERT, and was running only one train when we went by.

Oh yeah, rode the go-karts - they're $8, $2 for a passenger. Got to ride for a decent amount of time. They're not bad - not racing karts by any stretch, but not too wimpy either. Not something I'll ride often but $8 is on the edge of being reasonable for something different to do.

Considering that the Sky Coaster was $20 when it opened and lasted all of 5 minutes.

I also went on Sunday. Hurler was up when I was there...Borg broke down twice in the middle of the afternoon with us in line for our second ride the line was long but even with one train and with it breaking down still was only about an hour and 15...way faster than other times with 2 trains and with the line filled to capacity....overall a great first visit for the season. And I got to ride in the front row of TG for the first time! Great ride!

Had no trouble getting my pass made.

It really was not crowded at all with the promotion going on and with it being the last day to get the passes before the price goes up!
