Here's a fun idea that the park did for employees one night when we had a ride party.

Place colored buckets all over the ground under the Saturator and pick 4 people per team with a color and whatever team fills their bucket(s) the fastest wins and maybe some type of prize.

Clearly this would have to be a morning or evening ERT so the park is closed and we have full run of the ride for an hour or so.

I thought it was a very fun and creative game. When we did it we used orange & white buckets and it was ride op's v.s lifeguards.

How many people were there for that, though? C3 will have a pretty large attendance.

ERT on the Saturator? Considering that the morning ERT is right there at it, you could head to it right when the park opens and get several rides in. In fact, when the park opens, a certain RegRep can be found there for the first few rides of the day on the Saturator. He calls it his personal ERT.

About the game on Saturator, it sounds interesting. I had an idea once for FSS. I wanted to have people lined up under it. They were human targets and you basically had to hit one of them with the water. Needed some fine tuning. But, that was the basic concept of it.

I had actually had a twist for the Scooby Shoot Out this year that actually went over. But, we didn't know if it would go over with Rides or not. So, we just kinda canned the idea. Don't know if we'll do Scooby or not. I'd say give it a rest for a year.

How about doing an official Goldrusher takeover?

We did one two years ago and it was a lot of fun, but not many people knew about it.

I think it would be fun to do one at night, but since the park closes at 8:00 it won't be dark yet.

How about a 10:00 am takeover of Goldrusher? Come on, you know you all like getting banged around by Arrow coasters.

OK, I have already been into the Crown and Coke alittle but He** YEA!! Bring back the Amazing Race. Now since I know alot more about it, it would be fun to hand out the envelopes again and watch people go bouncing by.

I'm all for the Ride Takeovers also. A little Gold Rush, and even Dora (as most of you probably can't believe that I've never ridden her..I mean the attraction)

An item for at least $1800.00? Hmmm, my credit card is free so bring it on.

I remember when the park used to close later. I wish more than one night a week they would close at 10. There is nothing like riding Gold Rusher and Thunder Road at night!

i'd love to see the amazing race back.. but maybe with some anti-cheating rules?

it'd be better this year with the heat being less excessive. last year the heat was one of the worst part of the entire race.

I thought it was incredibly fun - but maybe a little more difficulty in clues, and a little less 'racing' would be pretty cool.. but im all for bringing it back for year 2.
