2007 - New Coaster - Rumor - (7/21/06) A reader has pointed out something very interesting that seems to indicate this will be a new coaster, possibly a hyper that could cross over the state line like the nearby Thunder Road. The ACE flyer for the Carolina Coaster Classic event on September 16th hints at a preview of things to come. “Will we be treated to a look at the future? At least 2007’s plans? Will the hyper bridge two states?” Of course this could just be a teaser to drive ACE’ers into a frenzy, but hey... it’s working.

OMFG. That's hilarious.

Some of these coasternuts need to...as William Shatner would say...Get a life. Its a freaking joke about the hyper that's been coming to the park for years and it going under the bridge. Some people just read too much into things.

I really don't have a clue as to what's coming to the park. I can only guess like everybody else.

Well, I have an outside source saying that on the ACE Forums, there is a rumor posted that we will get a hyper coaster that will cross the state line, and over Thunder Road. Again, this source is outside of Carowinds, Cedar Fair, and Paramount Parks.

Does anyone know if Frenzoid was skyblue before it was green? If you go to the park, ride Drop Zone section 4, and take a look at Frenzoid, something appears to be going with it. There is what looks to be blue paint on some parts, I am not sure if this is new paint or paint that is under the green paint.

Whoa these emails just keep comming...I recieved this picture and something that went along the lines of this..."well ya know people have been saying TR should be painted white and when that happens you maybe able to compare this shot w/ a shot that will be taken next year, of course after the 2007 attraction opens!

^ I dont get it are you getting these from Carowinds? I cant see a Strata Coaster going into Carowinds. I see either a hyper or an Intamin Accelerator like Storm Runner.

I cant reveal my sources for obvious reasons but I dont see a strata coaster comming to the park either just like I couldnt see the park bringing in stealth but it happen. The pic was sent to me to pay close attention to the area by thunder road because it will be some similar shots like that one after 2007 season opens. But I dont see a strata coaster but who said all rocket coasters had to be 400+ft tall... :ph34r:
