Wow...Just getting around to checking my email and I got this tag line "when it comes to 2007 you should think twice...". AND it also read "Its time to think outside of the box...".Anyone figure out what they mean by that?!? oh yeah and they attached this picture..whats up w/ that?? Is that Thunder road in the corner?

These emails are getting confusings as the season is shortening...i mean as the day is long! ;)

Foreseer wrote:In my simple opinion I really don't see anything happening next year for the simple reason CF is just getting thier feet wet with Paramount. I expect maybe a spruce up here and there and maybe the addition of CF goods to buy but no major attractions, for us anyway.

Actually im almost 100% positive that something is comming to the park. Bayard can vouch for this when I was talking to I think it was bob white, not sure of the name, but he was a very important person at paramount, I was actually talking to him at boombay media day and of course he couldnt say anything about anything but he did remind me that the way things seem to go around carowinds is 2:1 meaning 2 years of family and 1 year of thrill, now he did stress that a thrill doesnt have to mean a roller coaster but something thrilling. And this was still during the time of the purchase.

And besides, why would I be getting all these emails of something wasn't comming...

Hi:
I have spoke to a person in maintenance. He was a good friend when I worked Maintenance..This person says no new capital projects are planned to 2007.. If anything will come, it will be 2008.. More than likely just cleaning the park and painting..

Image If that is indeed true, you can bet season pass sales will drop along with attendance for the 2007 season. It may not be a significant drop, but I'll bet you anything there won't be any gains without a capital project for '07.

That's probably because you're full of fecal matter!!! just kidding. :P

I also agree with you swampfox. I probably won't be getting a season pass for 2007 as I am familied out. 2007 just might be my year for visits to other parks.

I will be POed if Carowinds gets nothing next year. They really need a new signature coaster and a bunch of flats badly.

^You photoshopped Superman into there and took out BORG

2007 better be a thrill year seeing as the last thrill ride we got was BORG and since then we got 2 family rides, a pool and a used water slide.

What do you mean "2007 better be a thrill year"? Are you going to storm the castle or something if you don't get your way?

Lol,I'd actually luagh at someone if they pulled that. As for me I'd be happy with even a Giant Frisbee. I mean if its a coaster, Maybe 120-150ft. I'm not expecting a hyper, I just highly wish for one.

Atleast when I took the pic's I took, I atleast got cross reference points to show the area I took them. Such as the bumper car one, and the one right by T-road.

The parks height limit due to the air port has to be below what? 330 is the height of the SkyTower. That is a relative zoned ride I should think meaning only in that area of the park a ride can be built that tall.

Around the other area(thunder road) maybe lower clearence?

Yeah this time of the year is the single most exciting time of the year (except for opening day) and at the same time the most annoying.

You've got all the parks releasing their plans for the next year and at the same time 10,000,000 rumors running around.
