I think it would be fun to do one at night, but since the park closes at 8:00 it won't be dark yet.

I remember the park closing later, especially in the 90's. One night a week is not enough. I went yesterday for the first time in a long time at night. I did not get to ride any coasters at night. We had just strapped ourselves on vortex (borgs line was 1hr and 45 and it was about 8:40) and they closed down the rides due to storms. I was really disapointed...I was really looking forward to riding Top Gun, TR, Hurler, Drop Zone, and Borg at night. I new I wouldn't get through but one or two, but still.

The park is soooo much better at night...the lights, the atmosphere, the light breeze.

Hopefully next year it will stay open later Sun-Thur until 10 and then Fri-Sat till 11 since Cedar Point stays open that late. What would really be fun is if the waterpark would stay open till about 9. Could you imagine riding some of the slides and the wave pool at night. It would be alot of fun. I remember as a child being able to ride all the rides in the kiddie section at night, and even Top Gun once.

Here's a quick C3 update:

Look for some good quality time spent in the Soon To Be Renamed Paramount Theatre. Look for some games. The usual Q&A. Maybe we can meet some Cedar Fair people! Maybe some surprises too. Maybe even Jarvis doing this Flashdance number. Get the bucket of water ready.

Tentatively: some Scarowinds stuff.

Its going to be a really fun day. Even though we don't have any new rides or coasters to focus on, we can all have some fun just hanging out together.

Every tub was snapping. It was a bit scary.

I'm sure they aren't doing it this year because they are planning ERT with Jarvis and his new swimsuit.

I am just gonna go, enjoy myself and have some ERT on the rides,and try to make some new friends. oh and eat! after all I am an Acer in training for a day supposedly..LOL this will greatly affect whether I join ace or not it is gonna be my christmas gift for 07.


BTW since this is my first C3, How do I go about the following.

After the Cracker Barrel meet up, Where do I park/register etc? I post marked and am sending my form through the mail tomorrow. I just wanted to know like if theres a schedual I know the backlot #2 is the picnic place right by season pass processing etc but like where do I go etc?

^ You'll meet Robert at the south/back entrance and get all your stuff like the schedule, etc.

He will have a lanyard (sp?) for you to wear that will have everything you want to know on it.
