Saturday was awesome despite the rain early on.

It was cool and in the 70's. After about 10:00 the rain quit and I got a good many rides before I left around Noon.

I rode Top Gun once during ERT because it was raining.

Oh my! The video system is awesome!!! It really does produce a very nice looking video.

I think during C3 I might try and get a group of ACErs to ride with me and then buy that DVD. I bet we can make some crazy stuff happen in the video. lol

Overall it was a great morning...

Top Gun 1 time (in light rain)
Thunder Road 2 times (front row...didn't have to get off) which reminds me of the funny story I'll spare you of. Basically the lights went out in TR's queue and the supervisor paniced and hit the E-stop. I'll spare you...
Hurler 2 times in a row (front row as well)
Scream Weaver ( I was the only non-staff rider!)
Scooby Doo's HM (Only like 10 people on this ride)
Flyers (of course) 1 time. I can't recall why I didnt' ride again, but it might have been raining again.

By about 10:30 the rain cleared and the park started to fill up.

For some odd reason Vortex had the short queue completley FULL!

I will never understand how things like that happen when the rest of the park was empty. But it is the first coaster you come to if you go to the right at the front of the park.

Borg - Skipped it because I wasn't going to pay to put my fanny pack in a locker. Plus it was raining at the time and didn't care to get rained on on the lift.

But kudos overall to the park for running all 3 coasters during ERT despite the rain.

That's actually not a bad idea about the DVD. I wouldn't mind splitting the cost with some people, and then umm... "sharing" it with one another.

Yeah it's $15 for one DVD, but for two it's $20. I'd pay $10 for one.
