full press release, animation, video, fact sheet, etc.

You could say it's a hyper under the bridge, if you go by the height definition of hypercoaster rather than the layout version.

Well at least there'll be a couple of parks nearby featuring great new coasters next season...again... what about our turn!?! <_<

All I can say is WAH!!!!!!!!

Dollywood just started investing heavily in their park, so that's understandable they are investing a lot in coasters.

Busch Gardens hasn't gotten a coaster since 1999.

In that timeframe Carowinds got:

Top Gun 1999
Super Saturator 2000
Ricochet 2002
Reptar 2003
Borg 2004

I really dont' see a lot to complain about here. Sure I love all of BGE's coasters and they build quality over quantity, but would you rather have to wait 8 years to get our next coaster???

If the park could be anything close to the level of Busch Gardens, then yes.

What an Ironic statement. Especially with the name of the site. Especially considering who posted it. LOL

I agree.

I too agree, especially if that meant some good flats in the middle instead of crappy family coasters like RRR (that thing is painful), and especially at the BGE coaster quality. See, Top Gun I could ride forever and never get bored, BORG i can ride some, but it's not as re-ridable, ALL coasters at BGE for me are like Top Gun, I could ride them and not get bored for ages, so throw in some other nice stuff (flats and darkcastle, etc.) and yes, i could wait 8 years for an amazing coaster.

You guys say that now, but if we went more than 4 years between our next coaster the complaints would flow!

"Why hasn't Carowinds built a new coaster yet!?!" Wah wah wah.

But truthfully, I get much more excited about a new coaster coming to Busch Gardens than any other parks. Because I know it will be unique and big and fun.

Well, ok, I was quite excited about Expedition Everest also.
