Jonathan wrote: Nice photos, Wes, although odd that you had more from St. Louis than anything!

Here is my Beech Bend trip report and photos: http://jonathanhawkins.net/index.php/tr-rumblefest/

Come on... you and I both know that Boss beats Voyage anyday.

Nice TR Jonathan.

I'm glad you guys had a good time. I really didnt' stay but about 2 hours and headed on to Gatlinburg, due to finances this year I really couldn't afford another night.

I liked Beech Bend last year and from what I saw I liked it again this year.

Everyone is really friendly there (oh and they have some little coaster there too). I wish I could have ridden it at night, it had a lot of nice air during the day on my 3 rides I got.

For some reason last year I think Scat 2 was down or maybe I did like this year and decided that I would probably puke after 2 seconds on it and skipped it.

So it sounds like the new trains on Looping Star didn't do anything to help it? At least they changed the name back from BRIEF ENCOUNTER *ROFL* :D

After fightning with my comptuer for three months I finally was able to render my video for the May trip. You might recognize a few folks.

Be sure and turn up your speakers a bit.

Enjoy!

I've got 2 other new vids as well if you want to check them out: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=phantomflyer

Nice videos; I especially liked the Tweetsie one. The Midwest one skips for me during the transitions; maybe it's just me, though?

No, it does it to me too. Probably my slow processor or whatever.

I'll probably have to just use the basic fades and such until I get an upgrade. Those don't seem to have as many problems.

EDIT.
Just went back and looked at the Tweetsie one...weird how it doesn't skip in that one at all. But that one is new and I just made it yesterday. That may have something to do with it. I had a ton of problems with the Midwest one just getting it to render and it might have gotten corrupt somehow.

I knew you'd like the animal shots.

Seems like I've figured it out. For some reason only certain transitions about 2 or 3 skip. Hopefully I can figure that out when I'm editing next time. lol

But overall I think I've done a lot better on filming and editing this year.

Just an FYI, Will's show has been put on hold until a few weeks from now.

I'm sure Paula will let us know when it's back on.
