Talked to Scott yesterday and he said he's still working on the Season Passes.

I dont know if I understand correctly but it has the season pass price of 17.50

That should make the tickets $14.49. Not $17.50. Or does it cost $35 at the gate now??? Wow.

Now if we can get a little more info on the "Haunts". Not to much, but a good tease.

Hey all. New guy here to the site.

We did the Platinum Pass this year and with the campground, became big fans. What's the scoop with Scarowinds? We have a 12 year old and a 6 year old (boys). You think they're going to enjoy it or be traumatized? Thanks for the input.

12 year old should be okay, the 6 year old, though, not so sure. I guess it depends on the kid. For what it's worth, I think they (the park) recommend Scarowinds for ages 13 and up.

Thanks for the input. The six year old is already saying he "doesn't wanna' go". It sounds like he won't "try it and like it". I think we'll try something else.

There will be Nick or Treat stuff going on during the day for the younger kids. Check out the Scarowinds section on the website for details on it. I think it takes place during regular park hours and not during the Scarowinds event.

Carowinds is getting mighty graphic with their descriptions this year.

Sounds like it will be better than last year, but I've never been that impressed with Scarowinds up to this point.

So they are only having 4 haunts this year, a new simulator the old one and a show.

The description for Slaughter House is just too funny. I heard about the "freak show" not long ago and asked if they were filming the ACE lunch.
