Well i think we have now or shall i say heard the newest thing from Cedar Fair to Carowinds. at 9:55am each morning they play the original 1973 Theme Song to Carowinds then it goes in and plays the national anthem. Its an interesting song but might be time to rethink the song for the time it is now. But thats the latest thing so far from Cedar Fair and Carowinds. By the way no news on 07' yet.

I'm sure Gene Patrick and John Moehring (creators of the original Carowinds theme song) will be flattered to know their song has made a comeback. I've got one of the original recordings on vinyl (bought it directly from John Moehring) but haven't figured out how to convert it digitally. I guess it would help to have a turntable....

I think you could record it to a tape, then play the tape through "line in" or whatever they call it and they your digital recorder would record it.

Actually, the original recording of Carowinds Theme Song is by Corpse. You can see him today at North Gate. Get his autograph and Thank him for all he does! Congrats to Corpse!

I was out there yesterday and I think I heard the song playing as I walked in.

The place was dead, pardon the pun. It was, everything except Top Gun and SDHM was a walk on. I rode most of the coasters and of course those terrible flyers and headed for home about 12:30.
