While working there I have heard some wild ride rumors, which, thank God, never happend. One was by the flume- a Top Spin, that thing is terrible, however I like the idea of more flat rides.

Can you think of any more?

I agree LocoDriver, Top Spins are awesome. It'd be really cool if we got the new Huss ones, like the one at KBF in California. Seriously though, Carowinds is in need of some new flat rides.

I heard they were going to tear down WWR and use the old Smurf Island to build a Intamin Giga Coaster.

I also heard that they were going to close off the water works from carowinds and create an entrance just for it by the employee parking lot and make it a seperate park. In this they were going to take out the wave pool and build a water coaster like Journey to Atlantis at Sea World.

Now they say a hyper in 2012 for the park's 40th birthday behind the hurler that is themed to Titanic.

The craziest Carowinds rumor that I ever heard was that they had planned to construct a Superman: The Escape clone underground that would launch underground in a tunnel and come out and go skyward in the center of Smurf Island, but the park didn't go through with the plans because it would be 'too scary.'

I also heard one about turning one of the trains on the cyclone around like they used to on the Joker's Revenge before the moved it. Now going through an arrow 3-looper backwards is more fun than a B&M Stand Up!
