Top Gun was #29 (last year was #23)

Then the 2nd coaster from Carowinds was Super Saturator.

Borg came in 3rd of the Carowinds coasters. lol

Maybe you could go abit farther and enlight us on why you do not agree with the list instead of the broad statement that you made. Some insight is always helpful with a post like yours in explaining why.

Something of note about the poll and Top Gun. Top Gun usually rated as Paramount's top steel coaster in this poll, with Volcano narrowly finishing ahead of it once or twice if I recall correctly.

Well, obviously it won't be the highest rated coaster in the new chain, what with all the hypercoasters and other big rides that CF puts in their parks - especially Cedar Point. TG must be behind lots of CF coasters, right?

Wrong. It's in a close race at #29 in the poll with Top Thrill Dragster at #26 and Xcelerator at #24. So TG finishes at fourth in the chain, not that far out of second. Of course Millennium Force is in first, finishing #6 in the poll. Overall CF had 7 of the top 50, and 13 of the top 100. The only other Paramount park rides in the top 100 were Volcano and PGA's Top Gun.

So TG isn't the highest rated in the chain anymore, but it's still very near the top. It IS the top rated inverted in the CF stable, and they have quite a few. Not that any of this really means anything, but it's nice to see a really good ride at our lil "neglected" park get some recognition.

Out of the top ten I have only ridden Millennium Force. I believe that it should deffinately be ranked higher than 6th place.
I guess I agree with spots 11-28. Even though I strongly believe that TG:TJC should be somewhere in the teens as it is one of the best B&M inverts I have ridden.
Being my personal favorite, Volcano: TBC coming in at 41st place bothers me. I know some people don't like it, but it should at least be somewhere in the 30's on up.
Magnum XL-200 at 65th? That boggles my mind.
Hypersonic is at 111th place. It should be last.
How does Top Gun at Kings Island beat the recently removed X-Flight?

It's just a bogus poll to me. Amusement Park Today awards are the ones I keep my interest in. Hope that helped everybody understand where I was coming from.

How can you seriously say that you know what you're talking about when you haven't been on the coasters you are saying don't deserve to be there.

The poll is not bogus either. It is probably the most acurate poll out there for ranking coasters.

I feel like it's difficult to complain about Mitch's poll. If I don't agree with the results, then I just accept that I am in a minority. And Millennium Force is not my favorite coaster but it deserves better than 6th in my opinion.

And in my opinion you do not know what Millennium Force deserves if you have not ridden the coasters that are ranked in front of it.
