Spider, I think alot had to do with where it was. No one could really see you when you rode it and we all know how much fun it is to watch people when they are upside down and screaming. So, I think them puting it in your face, so to speak is good. I just hope it doesn't look like an afterthought. Hmmm, that will give you a new experience when riding Top Gun and going into the flat spin.

I have an exellent idea on what to do with those game kiosks, send them to the now defunct Jeepers in Concord Mills.

Now if they had rethemed the area, brought back Wild Bull, the Swings, and Frenzoid... then... maybe... it would be something to consider as a good addition at minimal expense.

oh good lordy i wish they would bring back the SWINGS...I've loved that ride ever since I was like 4 or 5.... =-[ I remember when they used to have it next to topgun...I always thought one of the trains was going to hit my head. Ha.

I also think the location wasn't good. Anywhere else I've been, I've seen higher ridership for those rides as they're usually right out in the open.

I'm sure it won't shoot the ridership thru the roof, but I think it'll be better.

Its the same ride. Except, now with the other 49 seats occupied. Seemed kind of short as it only went 'around' once, but I bet that was due to them trying to get decent capacity. Good to have it back, and I hope it stays popular all year.

..Now if we can just get the swings back..

I like what the park did with the ride’s queue and station. Kind of looks like the old Pirate Island themeing.

Still think it would have been neat if it was sandwiched it into Carolina Boardwalk somehow to go along with that area's theme.

Well, it is in the County Fair section. There are plenty rides of this type in Fairs. So, I kind of like where it is. It's nice to be able to stand close to it and watch those that ride it. That was half the fun of it, watching peoples reaction when they go vertical.
If they put it where the VR is they would have to make more room for it. Better to leave the Boardwalk as is rather than tear it up to put the Star there.
