Does anybody know if the park is going to re-theme Country Crossroads/Carolina RFD for the 2004 season? There have been rumors circulating around about this, but does anybody have a sure answer?

I would think that if they were going to retheme for 2004 something would have leaked out by now. With the landscaping that will need to be done to spruce up TCFKAS area I would guess that they would wait until next year.

I don't think there will be any rethemeing done. I think all of those "rumours" that got started over on Thrill Networks needs to be retired. Stuff such as County Fair, Thrill Zone, etc. being remodeled. The hyper/giga called Titanic. And so on. Let's let the park do what they have in mind. Some of the funniest things come out of Thrill Network.

Well we may get a restaurant re-theme. PKI got one last year, with Bubba Gump, and PKD is getting one this year. They are turning their Stan Mikita's into a Happy Days restaurant. Well, it looks like Paramount is turing around and using their movies/shows for new theming... sounds good to me. B)

I wish they would do something similar to our Stan Miktas. Maybe they could give that entire area a 50s facelift, similar to <a href='http://www.coastertown.com/Tennessee/Dollywood/Jukebox_Dollywood/index.htm' target='_blank'>Dollywood's Jukebox Junction area</a>. That way, they could tie in alott of Paramount and CBS's 50's shows and movies, like Happy Days, Grease, so on...

We were told at the first ACE event at the park to expect more movie/tv show ties in the future. So, the Happy Days resturant theme wouldn't surprise me. Poor Stan Mikitas just sitss there looking really sad.

I hope we get some good movie / TV related stuff. I know on all the surveys I expressed my thoughts on being a Movie Theme Park and not just an Amusement Park. Makeing a move towards that could mean alot of future excitement and getting us higher on the map.
