Cedar Fair may use the Paramount name throughout the terms of the contract. The discussion between the two companies has ended and an agreement was supposedly reach but details are unknown.That is the reason you will continue to see the name or hear the same music inside the park this coming year. Borg will remain Borg and has nothing to do with the overall park agreement. It will be like many other rides a Carowinds where each will have its own name usage fee to pay if CF decides it will use it. CF however doesnt have a reputation of enjoying paying someone else for anything. Including employees

I'm not a fan of it just based on the picture Carowindsman posted. The stripe on the side looks ridiculously tacky. Maybe I will change my mind when I see it in person.

I think the red stripe is supposed to look like a flag waving in the wind...maybe Caro'winds'?

I think it will be okay (i really don't like the looks of it), something different anyways. I am not sure about the "possible" new theming idea cedar fair might have in mind. I am going to miss the Paramount theme just because it was movie based and not too tacky like our new sky tower seems to be. I just hope that cedar fair will keep the theming for the rides cool and not turn the into the sky tower ordeal! :huh:

Nice avatar, even though I'm a Carolina fan through and through. I can pull for State except when they're playing the Heels, which is something I totally cannot do for Dook. I almost didn't mind losing to you guys the first time, and almost felt bad about beating 'em in the tourney - almost but not quite. I'm really glad Lowe is doing well since I did like him as a player and he seems to be a good guy. Now, if State gets TOO good, I reserve the right to change my mind and wish for the days of Herb Sendek....

The skytower looks, uh, odd in the pictures I've seen. It may look better in person, but I think they missed out a bit on the look they were going for or it was just a bad design to start with. I'll give them some credit for trying something different, though.

I think the cabin of the skytower looks good, but something about the stripes on the tower bother me. Hopefully it will look better in person.

You can see the striped from the 485 bridge. lol. Thats as close as I got today. So yeah it is pretty visible.
