Dammit Yall.... Don't you know that I'm naturally a blond and am very gullible. I already fell for this once... even called the hubby in here in excitement. GRRR

yeh, that video's been around for a couple years now. He use to have a website, jeremyreid.com, but I see it's no longer accessable.

Actually I was hoping for one of these: A little thing I did whilst in Germany.

^Now that's cool!! I've always wanted to ride an Alpine Coaster. I know of 2 that opened recently out west (Colorado & Utah), but the ones in Europe are the best from all the photos and videos I've seen on the web.

BTW, is that you tailgating Mark? If I were to ride one of those I would stop at the top (just after the lift) so I can let the slow pokes get get far ahead of me. I wouldn't even think about using that hand brake until the very end...

Yea, that was me bumping my Son and his friend. They may be in the Army but I seem to be the one with no fear. lol

After the first ride they got the message...NO BRAKES!!! :D

That looks seriously scarier than riding a vekoma boomerang!

Pottenstein, Germany. That's about 1 hour East of Bamberg where my Son was stationed.

It only cost 1 Euro per ride or for 5 Euro you got an all day pass.

Man those things are awesome!

They need to build the first one up near Dollywood on one of those mountains.

I have to agree with bgwfreak. That ride just looks like it has alot of potential for disaster, the "freedom" you have on that ride to maim the guy in front of you is insane. Then again I have never seen one up close, so maybe it's a little easier than it looks. For now though I will add that ride to my "If I could built the worlds scariest theme park, what rides would it embody? list". I would put that alpine coaster right between the Vekoma tilt coaster and the Vekoma boomerang.

tilt coaster pic. for those of you who dont know:
