If they are going to close the back gate for good then they better start thinking about a tram. As i was leaving at 4 i overheard a few people complaining that they had to walk so far and when i got out to my car i did notice alot of people were parked by southgate cause the lot was so full.

I think I spotted Dick Kinzel (head of Cedar Fair) in the park yesterday.

There were a bunch of execs walking towards the main entrance and I spotted him.

He was gone before I realized who it was.

I guess they were in town since Carowinds was the only park open in the chain so far this year. Maybe he's doing like Shapiro did last year at Six Flags and touring all their properties.

Cyclone has gone since 1980 without them. And yes FOF only has lap bars but it has corkscrews.

Yeah it does, but it also has restraints holding your feet in.

Here's my photos from yesterday. There's a pic in there of the seatbelt on Cyclone too.

Does the seat belt buckle from the restraint to the seat, or from the seat to the restraint?

The buckle is attached to the OTSR and there is a retractable seatbelt in the seat now.

I didn't have any issues, but people that are kinda heavy might have issues with it becuase the seatbelt is not really that long. It's not Intamin short or anything, but it's not really long either.

Hey does anybody have a picture of the new Cedar Fairified Map of Carowinds? 2 more questions. Do all the entrances to the rides of signs like the one on Southern Star? and Do ALL the rides have the annoying computer voices like Cedar Point does?

Well I'm not overly huge, I can ride B&M's in the non-big boy seats just fine. I however have issues with KI's Drop Zone. I have to be stapled in on Drop Zone.

I don't think there is an online version yet. It basically looks like last years map. I brought one home with me of course.

At least Carowinds carousel doesn't have seat belts like the carousel does at SFOG. Now, that is about stupid.

Next thing you know Carowinds will add seatbelts and OTSRs to the Carousel.
