True, there aren't too many with 2 verticals. Montu is the only one I can think of off hand. I guess what I was really meaning is there isn't anything new type of elements. But it should be fun nonetheless.

Another coaster, from Premier, will be a launched spinning coaster. There is a No Limits version of the ride on You Tube:

This looks pretty fun!

One thing that's a bit unusual - Led Zep will apparently be a sitdown, not a floorless. While I think floorless is a somewhat useless gimmick unless you're in the front row, the parks seem to greatly prefer them. LZ:TR will be only the 5th sitdown type B&M built. You'd think with Kumba being as well regarded as it was (and is) that more would've popped up.

Hmmmm - maybe they figure that the onboard music system will be easier to work into a sitdown train. Other than that the only thing I can think of is that the sitdown would be somewhat cheaper without the loading floor, and would be slightly quicker to load / unload.

Maybe the Swiss masters can work a bit of Kumba magic on this one - I sure wouldn't mind something that good 4 hours away rather than 10+.

I like the sound of the park so far - it looks like coaster-wise it *might* be somewhat like the Busch parks. BGT and BGE "only" have 5-6 coasters, but all are at least pretty good and offer a pretty wide variety of experiences. Time will tell on the quality part at HRP of course, and they may have some cookie-cutter rides for the rest of the lineup, but so far so good.

KenB

Maybe B&M will debut an updated style of sitdown non-floorless train. Something to enhance the thrill or speed (along with LZ music). Maybe an open air type of train with no fronts, backs, or sides, just 12 rows of 4 seats.

Although this is pure speculation, it's not beyond B&M to surprise the crowd with a new style of train like they have done so many times in their short history.

How about "Over the Hills And Far Away", "Misty Mountain Hop", "Dazed and Confused" or even for name's sake "Down By The Seaside".

The hyper coaster rumor was probably started when one of the investors or managers of the park mentioned in a magazine article (forgot which one) that he was working on a coaster for the park with a 200 foot vertical drop but this was like 6-7 months ago when the article was published and he could have be possibly talking about a future coater. Either that or HRP scaled the ride down a little and made it s 150 foot ride instead.

I think that I heard one time that "Whole Lotta Love" was appropriated, without credit, from Willie Dixon's "You Need Love". You would think that Zeppelin would have at least picked one of their original tracks and not a cover song. I think it will be a good fit for the ride though, although Zeppelin has tons of other songs that would have worked just as good...if not better.

I wonder how the added noise pollution coming from sources within the proximity of the coaster will effect the on board soundtrack experience as apposed to an indoor experience like RcknRC at MGM? Seems to me that with all the different noise elements involved in the equation of an open coaster, they will have to blast music at a deafening level to get the full effect of a soundtrack. Then again I have no experience with this genre of coasters, come to think of it I don’t even know of one…

"Dazed and Confused" would be perfect if it was a Vekoma. That's how I usually feel when I get off one.

^If it were VeCOMA, I would have to choose Zeppelin's "The Lemon Song"....

That would also fit perfectly, IMO.

Are those footers for a coaster on the right?
