Dollywood will be connecting the Thunderhead/Mystery Mine area to Craftman's Valley and they will be putting in an interactive water battle raft ride. They definitely like water rides there.

Looks like a pretty nice addition. Will certainly be good having that new pathway.

Im amazed and very proud to be a season pass holder for dollywood!!

Now if carowinds gets rid of saturator for something better,or something like this, I would be happy!!

I'm not bashing Dollywood's choice, (I'm sure this will be a great addition) but I personally would have liked something else besides another water ride. I thought a flat ride would have been nice, or even the "Henhouse Scramble" dark ride.

I really liked the rideless areas they had on one of their online surveys a few years back. One was a new area built around a lake, and the other was a "town square" area. The lake area had a night time laser show.

Apparently they've abandoned those ideas in favor of only doing new rides.

All I am going to say is that good things come to those who wait. You never know what you might also notice is going on in other areas.
