Hey everyone who wished that the park would stay open later.... your wish has been granted. Starting on sunday the park will open at 10 and close at 10...yes 10'oclock everyday, monday- Sunday... And no this is not a rumor, i work there and now i am working until 10 next week... So have fun!!!

WOW! Awesome! I live in Greensboro and onlygoon weekdays to keep the lines down. I would have to wake up at 7:30 to get there at 10:00 so I could have a full day. Now, I can wake up later, get there later AND have night rides on Top Gun!

THats GreAT!! I work there and didn't even hear about it . But it's the truth.

DREAMS DO COME TRUE. Now everyone can enjoy there night time rides on their favorite coasters.

It was kind of weird to see all the lights come on about 8:10 p.m when the park closed at 8:00p.m. I use to think, " what a waste of lights for a park"


But Now I have to work two more hours till 10p.m.

I'm curious to see if the park is testing such a schedule for next season. It would be cool to have the park open 10-10 everyday all summer again - hope they do good enough over the next few weeks to warrant it.

yea thats the plan...Since all of Cedar Fairs parks close at 10 everyday and even later on saturdays, next year the plan is to close at 10 everyday and 11 or 12 on saturdays.

A long time ago the park tried late Friday nights and I loved it. It was cooler and the lines usually shorter than during the day. It was a great way to start the weekend.

I definetly will make it out there at least one Friday night in August.

Great news! I don't get off till 6:00pm, so now maybe the wife and kids will head out there on Friday nights some and I'll get some night rides in! Maybe even on a Tuesday or Wednesday when the lines are short!

Awesome! I had hoped for a return of 10pm on Fridays, which was the norm up until a few years ago. I love seeing this place at night and love night rides on the coasters, as well as the lower temperatures, but hate dealing with the Saturday crowds.

To be open EVERY day til 10pm is a very welcome surprise. Hopefully this will work out well for the park. I have a feeling it might. Families might go after there after the parents get off of work. or someone from further away may drive down on a weekday knowing they can get there a bit late and still get a full day in.
