Thunder Road may be closed for the rest of the season.

THe Employee's are having A Rides party on July 31st from 10:30pm till 12:30.

Usually when we have party's, we have them in various areas where the games and rides of a particular area are open.

This time it's area 4 with Topgun and Southern Star being open.

THunder Road would have been open for this event but unfortunatly. <_<

Haven't you ever heard "What the guests don't see, doesn't happen"? Granted this post may not get your tail in trouble, but some of your other posts could end up costing you your job. Best thing for any Carowinds employee to do is zip their lips on the internet as the managers told me. Fact is, Carowinds Connection is watched by management of Carowinds.

Getting back on topic, I highly doubt that the ride is down for the rest of the year. If it was, I'm sure the park would put that on the site and not "Thunder Road is down today".

So I guess when I do go back to the park it will be like going to a new park. I have not been to the park in about two years myself. I think the last time I went was C3 2005 maybe. It is nice to see that they are trying to take care of the coaster. I have passed the park a number of times the last few weeks since we are opening a new office closer to the park.

Glad to see things look to be going well.
