Today, I went to carowinds. I picked up a pay once visit twice pass. The park wasnt very crowded (due to heat) so they were minimal lines on pretty much all rides. here are the rides i rode (and my ratings):
Drop Zone 3.5/5(cant trust type of rides after incident)
Hurler 2.5/5 (sat in first car got a cut in leg by screw holding little sign up in car)
Carolina Cyclone 4.5/5 (small line- fun ride)
Vortex 0/5 ( :blink: :blink: :blink: HORRIBLE 1. ride was shaking way too much then when the ride is over you have to wait for 10 minutes to get into station )
Pipeline peat (tube) 4/5 ( short lines -fun ride)
Pipeline Peak (body) 1/5 (too much water was going down the ride. It was hard to breathe becuse you would brethe in water.

The park was clean. Staff was friendly. Cant wait to use next day on ticket. I should have bought a season pass though. I Also noticed thunder road was closed. Does anyone know when it will reopen?

Thunder Road has been down for some time, probably a month now. Don't know if anyone knows, they replaced some lumber down at the turn, from ground to track. I hope to get a few more rides on it this year.

I hope it reopens before the 19th. I hope they are just do work on the back section. Thanks davidtmp

My sister and Dad went yesterday and said that they were only running one train on most of the coasters.

The only ride that I went on that only one train riding was the hurler.
