All right everybody according to Screamscape there is apparently some kond of construction going on inside of the Hurles far turn. There haven't been any pictures yet and they dont know if its for something next year or for Scarowinds..

If it is inside the far turn on Hurler, then I highly doubt it is anything of interest.

I am going this week, and I noticed that last week. Every time ive been at carowinds, trhe hurler has had a short wait so they could be taring it down at the end of the season and putting in a new ride. I will get a picture of it.

I don't see Hurler going anywhere! It seems like a lot of work just for a one month promotion, but i guess if it is for Scarowinds, then this year will be the year to go.

We saw this last night and all there is, is a building going up and some wood and supplies laying around.

It looks like something for Scarowinds IMO.

I have no idea what it was either, but it certainly didn't look like any sign that they're going to taer it down! (Hurler that is).

I guess I hadn't walked over to the skycoaster since they put the go-kart track in, but I didn't realize how much that's blocked off now. I've often said that the Skycoaster area would be ideal for a big flat ride, which would help to boost the traffic at that end of the park for awhile at least. They could still put one there but it'd be somewhat hidden like Frenzoid used to be.

When i was at the park last weekend I noticed this construction as well. I tried taking pics on the hurler but it was so bumpy the pictures didnt work. I did get a shaky video and you can see what appears to be a rectangle. I walked around to the outside to see if it could possibly be a new ride...but there is no sign of an entrance way or a place for an entrance anywhere that i could see. I want to know what its going to be, i dont think they would build something this permenant for scarowinds. Oh well i guess we will find out soon enough....
