Actually Hydra Fighter 2 was just taken down in April 2007, however part of it was dismantled in 2006. The Hard Rock Park coaster could be HF2 but the GM of Wet N Wild says it is not.

I will not be sorry to see this ride go.. I used to work as a maintenace person at carowinds.. I hated working on this ride.. Something better should be coming..

However it just says it is closing for the 2007 season.

No, that's not what I was told. I was told that it's closing for good Sept. 3.

Well the water park aslo closes on sept 3 so i think its not going anywhere.... also it just says closing for the 07 season we'll see....

Saturator has never closed with the waterpark, nor has Carowinds ever admitted to the public what rides are being removed until removal begins.

Could an impulse fit in the Satie area? I think Carowinds needs some sort of launch coaster, I say replace Satie with a family/thrill launch coaster, or some compact coaster. Glad to be back, and ya'll enjoy the park for me.

Hypersonic XLC is going to replace the Saturator. Didn't you hear?
