Hey guys jus wanted too tell you guys that there is construction starting in the associate parking lot.They have banned us from parking there and have torn up the pavement, an now its just a buch of dirt. I dont know what is going too go there, but i no for sure that its not just a repaving project (i asked ). But what ever it will be it will good in size. But if anyone is ever in the park in the next few days take a ride on Sky Tower, or Drop Zone to get a better look!!!

Looks like another waterpark expansion...I wonder how big the waves will be on this one...bigger than the last one's I bet... However, the associate parking lot badly needs repaving... I would watch what ye point out by the way, I have heard tales of employees leaving for saying too much.

maybe they are adding the loop from Son of Beach to Thunder Road.

Deja Vu of last year Huh? It seems that parking has caused much talk over the last couple of years. Whatever is going on, I hope they finish it and leave it alone so the parking lot coaster waterpark rumors will go away. But anyways, I hope "Maybe" something is coming!

That pic is almost reaching "hyper under the bridge" status. You guys better hope they DO put that in next year or that will be the new running joke. Speaking of which, I'm surprised Screamscape hasn't started saying "Carowinds is getting a Tornado slide....." yet.

I'll be surprised at this point if there isn't some sort of waterpark expansion. Let's see - Saturator rumored to be leaving, and it's at the entrance to the waterpark. Work being done on the parking lot next to the back of the waterpark. I still hope that there's also a flat ride or something else added next year as well.

I'd much rather see them put something back there by Pipeline Peak and expand the waterpark that way, and leave the Saturator area part of the "ride" park - with either Satch or a new ride there.

If they do expand the "front" of the waterpark and make the Saturator area a pathway, that's going to be a pretty big dead area when the waterpark is closed. In recent years they've already removed the Nick water splash thing and the arcade building by the ice-cream stand, and this year they seem to have closed the skee-ball / arcade next to Wings. Aside from some games and Wings, there's just nothing between White Water Falls, which is somewhat off the path, and Goldrusher now.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cedar Fair is planning on a separate waterpark entry from the Thunder Road parking area. It only makes sense. That part of the parking lot is never full and it would allow people going just to the waterpark to park near the entrance without having to walk through the park.
