But then they'd have 3 gates and except for Cedar Point, I don't think any of their parks have multiple gates except Carowinds and CP.

I'm not saying it's not possible though, just seems unlikely to me.

Well let me propose this one then. We were talking about it somewhere; at C3 perhaps? All of the "legacy" Cedar Fair parks have separate gate waterparks; even the ones that are physically attached to the park. At a park like Kings Dominion it would be fairly difficult to make this happen, but at Carowinds it would be very easy to make the waterpark a separate gate. Do I see it happening? Not really. But, it is certainly an option down the road.

Why would it be hard at KD? They have one gate just like us.

They could also move the "south gate" to be a waterpark entrance, and then have the current south gate taken out. Otherwise, It'd be worthless to have a 2 gates maybe a couple hundred feet apart. Not saying I think this is what they will do, just IF they ever did expand back there, that could be how they do it.

Family Kingdom more than one as does Kings Island. Rye Playland has more than one gate also.

Hey, I'm new...

I think they should get rid of the South Gate and expand the actual park into the parking lot parallel to Thunder Road. That part is rarely ever used.

Actually I think they are finally building my multi-level parking garage there. That way if you had to park on the upper levels you would get great views of the park.

Boy, can't you tell how excited everyone is? I mean, normally there would be all kind of pictures and updates this time of year.

Everyone is like blah, blah, blah. ;)

So is it true that Flying Super Saturator is being moved to the employee parking lot adjacent to Boomarang Bay? If so that's a real smart move into the waterpark section...now if only we can get a great new flat in FSS old spot.

If it moves within the park, does that count as a new credit?

I just had a wild dream that the fss was replaced with what the ride ops were calling a "bayern curve" but it was more a bob sled type attraction with 2 seperate tracks. At first it was saturator but you know how dreams are then all of a sudden it was the curves. It was really weird because the whole crew was there like it was a c3 event and we were getting ert on it. I must say it was quite fun...but alas, it was just a dream that will never come true thanks to cedar UNfair...

Haha rough times for Cedar Fair lately on these boards. Even in dreams they are getting bashed.

Jonathan, I'm glad Scott was pretty excited. It would be nice to know of a 5 year plan. I wouldn't want specifics but in general Something like:

Year 1 Finish making a REAL waterpark.
Year 2 Revamp and upgrade all the flats
Year 3 Finally give a coaster worthy of far away travellers
Year 4 Kidde stuff
Year 5 Upgrade the "water" attractions outside B.Bay

or

Year 1 Family
Year 2 Teens and older folks
Year 3 Kids
Year 4 Teens and older folks
Year 5 Family

Just wondering if there has been anything changed since they scraped the parking lot? Did they repave it?
