yes I remember, I have been reading here since C.C. was started.. I guess the best thing to say is time will tell ... maybe we were told a bunch of bull, could'nt tell you. But is'nt it the purpose of a forum to discuss? I hope it is true. I am tired of driving to Dollywod, SFoG, B.G.E. each once a month to take my kids.

Im sure you have rode Goliath, and Apollo's Chariot. What do you think about the ride quality of Goliath? I mean I think it is not as smooth as Apollo's Chariot, even though supposedly the sister coaster for A.C. I would hope that if Carowinds did ever get one it would be something extraordinary. I surely and I can bet we all would say the same thing, dont want a clone of another park's ride. I would give anything to see a one of a kind coaster there

Believe what you wish, its certainly a free country ( for the most part) Myself, My kids and Matt were there, we know what we were told. I dont smoke crack, hash or anything for that matter, nor am I an alcoholic. As far as being credible, I have no reason but to express my interest in what I am told as I am doing here on this site. In fact I am trying to find out for my kids if any of this is true because they were certainly excited after hearing that and they know about all of the rumors that have been floating out there over the years. After all, as I stated in an earlier post I have great interest in the park, been there since '73..

I'm not knocking you, I just don't want to get my hopes up for another let down! But I hope that all the rumors are true and yes, please make me look stupid also. It has already been said once, but I'll say it again. Screamscape reported that we will not recieve anything new for 2008, so I figure we will; but what, who know's!

My oldest son reminded me that he (guy in the suit) said it might not be ready for 2008 but construction would start where the saturator is after scarowind/season is over, assuring us that it was coming. Sorry for not making that part clear.

I for one believed this guy. He definately looked legit to me and was kind of controlling the scene on Saturday. I may be naive but it was not the atmosphere to be telling someone something that would not be true. It would not have looked to good to those folks around us for a suit to be telling some junk. But after reading all of the posts here, I had to ask

He gave me/us lots of hope on Saturday. I remember what Screamscape said, and from what I gathered from our conversation was a Boom Bay expansion for sure although a small one.

Nothing new is probably accurate, but we most certainly will get some flats from GL that will be renamed and possibly (*fingers crossed*) Dominator!

I know one thing...they better not send Hypersonic down here from KD. That would be the one move that would tick me off unless it came in addition to another big attraction.

I think they saw how much money Parmaount lost on Hypersonic and probably aren't going down that road.

I bet it will be scrapped and taken as a writeoff.

Also, tadzooks how would they start on a new coaster as big as a hyper and not have it ready for 2008? :blink:

It doesn't take 12 months to put up a coaster.

And if you turn out to be correct, which I'd love to see happen, then you can certainly come back and say I told ya so. Until then, I put about as much stock in this rumor as hearing it from the dippin dots guy.
