I had to go to Hillsville this morning for a meeting and I took 77 north b/c the moutain drive is fun in the mustang. But anyway, as I started up the moutain, I seen a Truck coming down the moutain with coaster track! It had no color, it look rusted, but I could not figure out why the track was coming down 77 if it was for HRP, b/c you'll take 52 s. I don't figure its for us, but I got excited and had to share the news. Maybe one day we can post about track on site!!! One day? ;)

It could be track for a traveling model like for a county fair.

Could be anything.

And unless Cedar Fair can do magic, we know it's not any of the coasters from Geauga Lake.

If it was going 77 S. I wouldn't be surprised if it is for the South Carolina state fair held every year in October. They have a couple portable coasters there each year along with some pretty good flat rides. Not to mention deep fried everything!

I can say that it was not B&M track. I did not look like the track for midnight rider at HRP, but like an older style kinda like the cyclone track. But the piece was big! Sorry, but I don't know exactly what type of track it was.

^the "cyclone track" doesn't help much either, given how many coasters there are out there that have been named cyclone or had the word cyclone in their name. Do you at least know if it was wood or steel? That might help. Look around on RCDB.com and see if you find a coaster with a similar track style.

Did it look like this? Here's a photo of the Maximum RPM track at HRP that I took a couple weeks ago.

The Midnight Rider track looks more rust colored though:

It might have been that, but it really looked rusted w/ no glossy finish. Anyway, I got excited and just had to say something.

Ok nice way to jump on the bandwagon but its pretty obvious he is talking about cyclone at carowinds. Thats a given lol

Sorry, but actually, he didn't really make it clear IMO, which is why I asked. If he were referring to that he should have said Carolina Cyclone or "the cyclone at carowinds", just saying "they cyclone" doesn't really make it clear. And he said that it didn't really look like the Midnight Racer track, which is very similar to the track that our Cyclone uses, but that it looked like "the cyclone", so I figured he might have been talking about a different cyclone. So back off :P
