Water parks seem to be the new craze with CF so I would not count it out at all!

it concerns me that the parking lot that was bulldozed here is right next to the water park.... seems like a waterpark expansion coming... man, would that suck...

Yeah! Arguably the selling point for most season pass holders and most crowded area of the park during the summer months! Don't expand that! Send us a crappy B&M!

Yeah a certain manager that most of us know told me that the year they expanded the water park they sold more season passes than any year previous.

I would like a dang water park expansion. It would better than a lukewarm B&M or a crappy boomerang. The water park is looking good it just needs more slides, I would go for a Tornado, Bowl, Or a Master Blaster type of ride.

If we do get a waterpark expansion, it better be an actual expansion...not the sorry @$$ crap Paramount gave us a few years ago with ANOTHER kiddie pool and small kiddie slides (actually, I think the kiddie slides were a good addition, but they did NOTHING for anyone else and called it an expansion). Do people actually get around to that kiddie pool in the back? Last year, the whole waterpark would be packed and it would be empty back there...I don't think people could figure out how to get there or even knew it was there (I didn't find it right away the first time), and it didn't seem all that necessary.

I agree, it was supposed to be a "heated" lagoon, it was like jumping into the arctic ocean! It is a kiddie pool, thats all it is. The kiddie slides were ok, but we need a big new, I repeat NEW not from another park, slide!

They sould move FSS into the parking lot that was ripped up behind Pipeline Peak. That way the ride can stay in the park, and be with the rest of ther water park. This also opens up the are where FSS used to be for a free ride from GL. that way the only thing they have to pay for is instalaion and moving FSS. Then in 09, we get a brand new COASTER!!!

CF will have to do someting to compete with HRP.

HRP is going to have the spotlight for a year or two... best to build a shiny new coaster after HRP's hype, I think.

If CF expands the water park this year (+ GL flat) then in '09- '10 builds the shiny new B&M instead of used Dominator this year, I would gain a lot of respect for CF... when the spotlight is not coming off HRP for another year, it is VERY smart not to build the new signature coaster.

It might be agonizing for us enthusiasts, but SFOG, KD, and Dollywood are only a few hours away And I hear KD is getting a brand new used coaster this year!!!

who's to say that HRP does not blow up into a huge attraction and continue to expand and grow? MB is becoming a huge destination and with the local law considering a special casino law for the MB city limits, MB will only get bigger and bigger! HRP is going to already stand on 140 acres, so enough room for growth.
