I've been googling Raleigh news sites and watching video clips of the NC State Fair which opened today.
One thing I keep hearing is that this years fair, with 112 rides, will be the largest single gathering of rides in North America. WOW!
So far, the only spectacular rides I have seen from the video clips are a Crazy Mouse spinning coaster, A Super Shot & The Claw. With 112 rides on the menu, I certainly would think there would be some "first" for this fair, or the entire region for that matter. Still hoping for a few of those spectacular rides we often see in European fairs.
The fair is being brought by POWERS MIDWAY which doesn't even show an adult coaster on their site, so I assume as with most large fairs, independent ride vendors are scattered about.
Is anyone planning on going to the NC State Fair?
