Since the previous forum software was nearly 5 years old, and since the spam bots were becoming completely uncontrollable, I have upgraded. This was a bit of a challenging process, because the forum data had to be converted multiple times to make it compatible with the new software. As a result, errors may occur. Please post here any errors or general problems that you run into. Also, you can point out something particularly cool if you notice that, because I probably haven't even noticed it myself.
Anyone with 0 posts has been deleted. For those who were deleted in error, I apologize; you will need to re-register. This was simply the only way to make sure I got rid of all of the bots. Sadly, this brings our membership count down from 1,104 to 275, which may eliminate some of my own personal bragging rights, so now we need to start building the membership base back up with actual contributors.
Known Issues:
-User passwords may have converted incorrectly. I had to have my password reset. You can change it back to what you want in the control panel. If you still are having trouble, email me (jonathan -AT- jonathanhawkins.net - remove the -AT-).
-Most or all avatars have failed to make the transfer. You will have to upload a new one.
-RESOLVED: Post counts have now been recalculated for every user based on existing posts in all forums.
-If you had a link or image in your signature, it will be really screwed up. Please fix it ASAP, because it is an eyesore.
-The search feature: This may actually be working 100% correctly, but I have some suspicions about it. If you have a problem with it, post it.
-You will need to fill out profile fields such as your birthday again.
-Possible cookie problem not saving users' login sessions
